Imagine I've had this name since school days lol.

I am the owner and founder of House of Styles. I was known as the hairstylist as I was always in everyone's hair giving them them the latest cornrow hairstyles. So I literally just adapted them name 'STYLES or STYLER'. 

Okay let me take you even further back to my youth days, my mom never knew how to braid but she had to learn as I was her first girl child. Remember the single braids with loads of beads and to secure it they use to use foil lol. Yes they used foil to secure the beads at the end ( I wish I had a picture to insert here, NOT lol). Anyway my mom found a hairdresser that specialised in my hair type, she would take me there every so often to get my hair washed and braided. I would sit and watch the braiders braid my hair every time. 

Then when I was around 8-9 years old my mother bought me a barbie's doll head to play with and do hairstyles, little did she know this was where it would all begin. My mother knew how to do a single palit so she taught me how to do that. Easy peasy I thought, so I then taught myself how to cornrow, there was no Youtube at this time, no one was teaching you how to braid you just learnt somehow lol. From learning to plait, to then canerow I was doing all different styles the braiding world was my oyster! 

I never gave up I have always been pushing through, and the rest is history. 

Now I still braid as it is my specialist skill, I have also taken on a new skill to make lace wigs and I absolutely love it! No matter your skill it will not manifest if you do not keep pushing and working very hard.
